About SIC SIFE
The SIC SIFE Team competes annually in the Students In Free Enterprise competition. The SIFE competition requires students to develop and implement educational projects that focus on free enterprise, with the assistance of businesses and educators. Each spring the team presents a 24-minute multimedia presentation outlining the results of their projects to judging panels made up of SIFE Alumni and corporate executives. Winners at the Regional Competitions proceed to the National Competition held in Kansas City, Missouri.

SIC SIFE Team - 2004
SIC SIFE was named SECOND IN THE NATION at the 2004 SIFE USA Exposition in May.
The team from Southeastern has won at least one award at the regional level each year since 1992. The team has won a number of special competition awards and has finished in the final round of the two-year school division at the National Competition in 1997, 1998, 1999, 2002, 2003 and 2004. The team was named a runner up in the semi-final round in 2000 and 2001.

In 2004, the team also brought home a Regional Championship (for the eighth consecutive year!) before its finish as the First runner up at the National Competition!

SIFE projects are judged, in part, according to the following criteria:
How creative, innovative and effective were the students in teaching others an understanding of how free markets work in the global economy?
How well did the students teach others how businesses operate?
How successful were the students in teaching others the skills and motivation to succeed in the global market?
How successful were the students in teaching others ethical and social responsibility in business?
